Eggs Hawaii has a comprehensive, multi-faceted quality assurance and food safety program. We are the only facility in Hawaii that participates in the USDA’s voluntary program for the official grading of eggs.
Under this program, USDA Inspectors continuously monitor the grading and packing of eggs at Eggs Hawaii to help ensure that they meet the applicable quality and size standards. Eggs Hawaii’s plant processing equipment, facilities, sanitation, operating procedures and proper egg storage temperatures are also checked and verified according to established requirements. Eggs packed by Eggs Hawaii under this program are eligible to be labeled with the USDA grade mark.
